What is omakase?

Omakase is a Japanese fine dining experience where the chef selects your menu. Translated it means “I leave it up to you”. It can be an intimate experience between chef and diner, or it might be featured as the best of what they have or seasonal on a menu at your local sushi restaurant.

Why is omakase so expensive?

Omakase uses only the best ingredients and sourcing for these premium components is what makes it so expensive. The result is a meal where every bite is a bold and flavorful adventure.

Where is your menu and pricing?

Omakase is often menuless because each meal is curated for the customer and based on the season. At Hana Sushi, we will provide a detailed menu and pricing for your event or special occasion. For omakase: starting from $50 per guest with a minimum guest count of 10. For regular sushi and Korean food catering: starting from $35 per guest with a minimum guest count of 25.

We offer special add ons like wagyu beef and uni sea urchin with pricing based on the market price.

What services do you provide?

We offer full catering services for all event types: wedding, special occasion, corporate, gala. In addition, we cater for home dinner parties with a minimum guest count of 6, starting at $75 per guest. We also provide drop off services with 24 hours notice to Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.

Do you provide services outside of catering?

Our sister company is Manhattan’s top event florist and we offer stunning flower decor and displays for the appropriate occasion and by request. Enjoy a magical ambiance as you dine on the finest omakase in the tri state area.

Do you only cater omakase?

We have also partnered up with our subsidiary that specializes in regular sushi and Korean food. Omakase can be exclusive for many and we have an option to serve every customer.

What areas do you provide catering services for?

We currently serve Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Long Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.

Do you accommodate food allergies and aversions?

Yes. We will have a consultation prior to your event to ensure we cover food allergies and aversions, and respect any preferences.
